Dan began his career in 1998 as a trainee clapper loader on an ITV film drama directed by BAFTA award-winner Peter Kosminsky. Quickly rising through the ranks as a camera assistant and trainee, he became a key member of the studio and PSC camera team at ITV Meridian in Southampton, where he worked as a cameraman and Jimmy Jib operator.
In 2003, following the closure of the Southampton studios, Dan transitioned to freelance work. Since then, he has collaborated with some of the industry's most skilled and talented professionals across a wide range of productions.
Passionate about his craft, Dan is dedicated to delivering exceptional results on every project. His commitment to excellence has earned him Royal Television Society Awards for Best Camerawork in both 2014 and 2017. He has also been privileged to contribute to several BAFTA award-winning productions as part of the camera team.
Dan is also a qualified pilot and an experienced instructor on the Airbus A320. As the co-owner of 3Twenty Aviation, he plays a key role in delivering high-quality flight training and immersive aviation experiences.
